Pallas Sluyter

A native of Los Angeles, dual citizen, and resident of The Hague, Pallas has had a varied and extensive career as a professional dancer. Between the ages of eleven and nineteen, she received scholarships from the Ford Foundation, The School of American Ballet/New York City Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, San Francisco Ballet, Ballet West, and Dupree Dance Academy.

She has an extensive list of credits as a professional freelance ballet dancer, including Dennis Wayne and Dancers, Los Angeles Chamber Ballet, Los Angeles Classical Ballet, Nevada Dance Theatre, Israel Ballet, Jerusalem Tamar Modern Dance Company, Dutch National Opera Ballet, and New Breed Dance Theatre.

Additionally, she has a long list of credits in the entertainment industry, including music videos for MTV, network television shows, movies, and Musical Theater. She has worked with renowned choreographers Daniel Ezralow, Ann Marie DeAngelo, Kenny Ortega, Toni Basil, Paula Abdul, and Bill Goodson, to name a few.

Pallas is a highly experienced and passionate teacher, mentor, choreographer, and coach who loves sharing her knowledge and expertise with dancers of all ages, levels, and aspirations.

She's currently a faculty member and choreographer for Degas International Dance Academy in Delft, a guest faculty member for the Henny Jurriëns Studio - International Training Center for Professional Dancers in Amsterdam, a guest faculty member at Codarts University in Rotterdam, a faculty member at Dansschool EDC in Zeist, a guest choreographer for Happily Ever After Productions in Amsterdam, and co-director of the Art of Ballet Intensive, Amsterdam (founded in 2023).

Furthermore, Pallas is a certified yoga instructor nearing completion of her 500-hour level certification as a graduate of The Yoga Institute in Houston. She is a devoted meditation practitioner with mindful breathing/breathwork and body-mind skills.

As a music and arts journalist, she has produced filmed interviews and radio broadcasts for Pallas On Air, featuring interviews with sixty recording artists and several choreographers.

In addition, Pallas has co-produced several songs and is an aspiring voice actress. A native English speaker, she is also fluent in Dutch and speaks some Spanish and Hebrew. She is the proud and loving mother of two sons.

Lorenzo Koppenaal

A native of the Netherlands, Lorenzo trained on scholarship at the prestigious Purchase Conservatory of Dance in New York. In 2018, he obtained his bachelor's degree at the Amsterdam University of the Arts before embarking on a career as a professional dancer. Currently, he is a highly sought-after guest teacher.

Lorenzo's training has taken him around the globe, honing his skills with some of the most renowned dance companies. His journey includes the Limón Dance Company, Merce Cunningham Company, Batsheva Dance Company, Cullberg Ballet, William Forsythe Ballet Intensive, and Introdans Ballet, all of which have left indelible marks on his artistry.

In addition, he had the distinguished honor of assisting and studying with Risa Steinberg, former director of the Juilliard School of Dance.

Throughout his career, Lorenzo has worked with the Nationale Operette, Roser Lopez Espinosa, Ivgi&Greben, Wousje Schutte, and Blenard Azizaj.

While exhibiting an unwavering passion for contributing to the evolution of dance, he maintains a steadfast focus on classical foundations, leading him to numerous guest teaching opportunities worldwide. Credits include the Metropolitan Ballet Academy in Baltimore, SPID Ballet Academy in Milano, Sabrina Saturno Professional Dance Center in Salerno, the Dance Institute in Hamburg, and Dance Company de Stilte in Breda, among others.

Along with his international engagements, he holds positions as a faculty member/ballet teacher at Albeda Danscollege, Jeugd Dansopleiding Fryslân, and Lucia Marthas Institute for Performing Arts.
