Application Guidelines
Thank you for your interest in AOBI's third annual Summer Program. After you have read carefully through our guidelines, you may then proceed to submit your application. Please be sure to adhere to the guidelines provided below:

To ensure that your application and all required accompanying materials can be considered for acceptance, please adhere strictly to the following guidelines:
Headshots
only official passport photos will be accepted
Attire
form-fitting ballet wear only
no skirts, leg warmers, or baggy garments
Photos
must be clear, of good quality, in color, and with a plain background
avoid backlighting
must be formatted in .jpg or .png.

Unlock your full potential and enhance your ballet skills with The Art of Ballet Intensive's foundational summer dance program in downtown Amsterdam.
Our program provides exceptional guidance from renowned master teachers and intensive workshops in a small group setting to perfect your technique, elevate your artistry, and expand the scope of your abilities. Join us for a memorable experience that will push you to your limits, motivate you, and equip you to perform with poise and confidence.
Get ready to unleash your inner performer with AOBI's comprehensive dance training program! Imagine starting your day with a thrilling two-hour ballet class accompanied by live music that's sure to set your heart racing. But that's just the beginning! You'll also learn various Classical Variations and Contemporary Repertory and get the chance to attend masterclasses taught by renowned professionals who have danced with some of the world's most prestigious companies, such as NDT, Dutch National Ballet, and Scapino Ballet. And that's not all — you'll receive supplementary training in Pilates, Yoga, and Contemporary/Limón, so you'll be in top shape to take on any challenge.
For our full course participants, the intensive ends on a high note with an exciting (optional) theater performance and an inspirational Q&A with our guest master teachers, all right in the heart of Amsterdam. Prepare to dance your heart out and take your skills to the next level with AOBI!

The Art of Ballet Intensive's (AOBI) foundational summer program is thoughtfully designed to cater to the needs of beginner-leveled dance lovers (X/F/M).
Our core values of diversity and inclusivity are at the heart of AOBI, and we openly embrace and encourage applications from individuals aged 12* - 80 and above, irrespective of gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or religious affiliation.
At AOBI we guide you every step of the way during both our one-day, six-day, and thirteen-day intensives. To be sure that you meet the minimum requirements for the program, please refer to our requirements outlined on our FAQ page. Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us for further clarification or assistance.
*If you are under the minimum age requirement but interested in joining us this summer, please get in touch with us. We will be sure to provide you with detailed information regarding admission and an overview of how to submit a short audition video.

With a high faculty to student ratio, please be informed that AOBI has a limited capacity for registrations. Should we reach our maximum capacity prior to the scheduled deadline of 15 July, registration will close early. We urge you to complete your registration at your earliest convenience to secure your spot and avoid disappointment!

We conclude our summer program with a captivating and intimate theater performance, set against the vibrant backdrop of downtown Amsterdam.
