Application Guidelines
Thank you for your interest in AOBI's third annual Summer Program. After you have read carefully through our guidelines, you may then proceed to submit your application. Please be sure to adhere to the guidelines provided below:

To ensure that your application and all required accompanying materials can be considered for acceptance, please adhere strictly to the following guidelines:
Headshots
only official passport photos will be accepted
Attire
form-fitting ballet wear only
no skirts, leg warmers, or baggy garments
Photos
must be clear, of good quality, in color, and with a plain background
avoid backlighting
must be formatted in .jpg or .png.

Discover your true potential and take your ballet skills to new heights with The Art of Ballet Intensive’s advanced/pre-professional summer dance program in downtown Amsterdam.
Our program offers unparalleled instruction from world-renowned master teachers and in-depth workshops in an intimate setting to refine your technique, elevate your artistry, and expand your versatility. Join us for an unforgettable experience that will challenge, inspire, and prepare you to take the stage with confidence and grace.
AOBI provides extensive dance training to help you become a skilled performer. Each day begins with a two-hour ballet class accompanied by live music. You will also learn various Classical Variations and Contemporary Repertory and get the opportunity to attend masterclasses taught by renowned professionals who have danced with NDT, Dutch National Ballet, Scapino Ballet, and other prestigious companies. In addition to this, you will receive supplementary training in Pilates, Yoga, and Contemporary/Limón. For our full course participants, the intensive ends with an exciting (optional) theater performance and an inspirational Q&A with our guest master teachers, all in the heart of Amsterdam.

The Art of Ballet Intensive's (AOBI) advanced pre-professional summer program is thoughtfully designed to cater to the needs of dedicated advanced-leveled dancers (X/F/M).
Our core values of diversity and inclusivity are at the heart of AOBI, and we openly embrace and encourage applications from individuals aged 12* - 80 and above, irrespective of gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or religious affiliation.
At AOBI we guide you every step of the way during both our one-day, six-day, and thirteen-day intensives. To be sure that you meet the minimum requirements for the program, please refer to our requirements outlined on our FAQ page. *If you are under the minimum age requirement but interested in joining us this summer, please get in touch with us. We will be sure to provide you with detailed information regarding admission and an overview of how to submit a short audition video.
