The Art of Ballet Intensive (AOBI) is thrilled to present their debut edition of the Don Quixote Weekend Ballet Intensive in the heart of Amsterdam, which includes attendance to The Dutch National Ballet’s performance of “Don Quixote”!
Get ready for an enriching and enjoyable experience at AOBI’s Don Quixote Weekend Ballet Intensive! Immerse yourself in the world of Don Quixote through ballet masterclasses and variation studies accompanied by a live pianist, all centered around this classic tale. But wait, there's more! The Weekend Intensive also includes attending the Dutch National Ballet’s performance of Don Quixote in downtown Amsterdam. Whether you are a seasoned dancer or a ballet enthusiast, this weekend promises to be both educational and entertaining, offering an unforgettable journey into the world of Don Quixote through the art of ballet.

*Intensive workshops to solidify and perfect participants’ knowledge of the choreography learned on Saturday, refine the technical and artistic performances of the solo variations, and incorporate the artistic inspiration gleaned from having attended the performance on Saturday evening!

As with all AOBI intensives, our principle of inclusivity is paramount. While the Don Quixote Weekend Intensive is primarily geared toward intermediate and advanced/pre-professional dancers, choreographic modifications may be offered for less experienced dancers.
Our core values of diversity and inclusivity are at the heart of AOBI, and we openly embrace and encourage applications from individuals aged 12* - 80 and above, irrespective of gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or religious affiliation.
At AOBI we guide you every step of the way during both our Weekend Ballet Intensive.
